Notes. This name commemorates Townshend Stith Brandegee (sic.) but Johnston published the name as "Brandegeana"; the International Plant Name Index (IPNI) has given the epithet as brandegeeana, a spelling which is almost universally adopted for other taxa commemorating this man.
